Epistemic Interactions Lab

Join the lab

We are currently recruiting Ph.D. students.

Prospective Ph.D. students

Students who want to work with the lab can do so by applying to a Northwestern Ph.D. program:

Computer Science
Technology & Social Behavior

The most important thing we look for in applicants is a passion for doing rigorous work at the intersection of AI and human cognition and behavior. If you are drawn to statistical methods and are interested in formalizing human-machine communication and interaction, you may be a good fit for our lab!

We are open to various backgrounds. Previous lab members have had degrees in computer science, statistics, data science, psychology, and sociology, among others.

Prospective postdoctoral scholars

We are always open to exploring postdoc opportunities for the right candidates. Contact Jessica for more details.

Undergraduates and Master’s students

We occasionally involve undergraduates and Master’s students in our research. Students should be ready to commit at least 10 hours per week. Send us an email explaining what skills you can bring to the lab and describe your interests relative to our existing work—if we have opportunities that we think you’d be a good fit for we will get back to you.
